i love your work, do you accept commission projects?

I don’t accept commissions because my process is very intuitive, and the outcome of the work is never apparent from the start – which makes it difficult to work to a brief (I would hate to disappoint if you weren’t happy with the result!). I would much rather the right work find the right home. You should definitely sign up to my mailing list and follow me via my social channels – you never know when your perfect work will present itself!


HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE FOR MY ORDER TO ARRIVE?

Please allow 3-4 weeks for deliveries. Couriers and Australia Post are under increasing pressure at the moment, demand is high and due to COVID restrictions, their operations aren't running at full capacity. We can express ship to you if necessary for an additional fee. Please request a quote for express shipping here.

SHIPPING Where do you ship?

Australia-wide and selected international countries. 

Framed paper prints will use Perspex not glass to minimise breakage when shipping within Australia. We can only ship unframed prints rolled in a tube to international destinations.

How much does shipping cost? 

Australia

We offer free shipping Australia-wide on all original artworks under 120cm. Request a quote for artworks 120cm and over before finalising your order.

International 
Additional shipping fees will apply to international orders. Request a quote before finalising your order. 

Please keep in mind: International delivery costs do not include any taxes or duties which may be applied by customs at the destination country. Any taxes or duties incurred are your responsibility so please keep this in mind. In accordance with Australian export regulations, we are required to declare the exact value of all items. For more information on taxes, duties and customs regulations, we recommend contacting your local customs office directly.


RETURNS & EXCHANGES

Originals are one of a kind and each print is made to order with much love and care. For this reason we cannot accept returns, exchanges or change of mind on these custom made products as we do not hold stock.

For any items other than artworks we are happy to accept a return or exchange within 14 days of receipt of the goods. The item must not be damaged and returned in brand new condition.

We do not accept returns for items that were purchased as part of a sale.

We do our best to represent the colours correctly for artworks and products, but colours you see on your computer screen or device may vary slightly from the actual artwork or product.


FAULTY OR DAMAGED ITEMS

If your package arrives damaged in transit please don’t worry, all our freight is insured.

Here’s what to do:

Take photos of:

The external box.
The shipping label on the box.
The damage to the artwork/frame or fault in the print.

Please send all photos to me via email within 14 days so we can resolve the dilemma as quickly as possible so we’re all smiling again.

All orders are processed in Australian Dollars and include a Goods and Services Tax (GST). The Kate Owen Artwork Shop accepts the following payment methods - Visa, MasterCard &  PayPal. Please read our full Terms and Conditions and Return Policy located on this page for further information.


HOW LONG DO I HAVE TO SPEND MY GIFT VOUCHER?

Your gift voucher will be valid for use for two years from the date of issue. Any balance that remains on a gift voucher will not be available for use after the voucher’s expiry date. You are responsible for the use and safety of your gift voucher. Lost or stolen vouchers cannot be replaced or refunded so please treat them like cash. Gift vouchers cannot be exchanged or cancelled. Items that are purchased solely, or in part with a gift voucher may be exchanged or returned subject to the exchange and returns policy.


I can’t decide on a frame - please help!?!

I am more than happy to help you find the perfect frame for your artwork. Feel free to drop me a note via my connect page.
All framed prints come with an oak frame. If you have ordered a print and would like to have a white or black frame instead please contact me here asap so I can organise this with the printer at the time of placing the order.

Absolutely. I love to find companies that create products that align with my brand values and help them choose an artwork to make their special product sing.

My studio is a private creation space and I am way off the beaten track so not easy to get to.
